About MeI am an aspiring Outdoor Educator with a love for the great outdoors. In my lifetime I hope to serve others by fostering an appreciation for the endless experiences waiting to be had in the outdoors. Growing up I spent any available time outside. So I decided, why not pursue a career in what I love?
I graduated from Georgia College, Dec 2014, with a B.S. in Outdoor Education and a Minor in Business. In the Outdoor program at GC we focused on developing ourselves as professionals in three core areas: Human, Outdoor, and Educational. During my time in the program, through various courses, we spent many hours in the field gaining experiences and developing teaching models within the three core skill sets. Those experiences have left me feeling more confident in myself as an Outdoor Educator. I look forward to serving others in the experiences that lie ahead. In my spare time I enjoy any form of cycling, running, training for competitive events, rock climbing, backpacking, sailing, playing guitar, and enjoying others company. |
