I am an aspiring Outdoor Educator with a love for the great outdoors. In my lifetime I hope to serve others by fostering an appreciation for the endless experiences waiting to be had in the outdoors. Growing up I spent any available time outside. So I decided, why not pursue a career in what I love?
Recently, Dec 2014, I graduated from Georgia College, in Milledgeville Ga, with a B.S. in Outdoor Education and a Minor in Business Administration. In the Outdoor Education program at GC, we focus on developing ourselves as professionals in three core sets: Human, Outdoor, and Education. During my time in the program, through various classes, we have spent many hours in the field gaining experiences and developing teaching models within the three core skill sets. These experiences have left me feeling more confident in myself as an Outdoor Educator. I look forward to serving others in the experiences that lie ahead.
The past few summers I have spent my time working at various summer adventure camps around the U.S. Including: Camp Timberlake, NC, Camp Cheley, CO, and Camp Falling Creek, NC. I have been blessed to work with these great organizations, and I look forward to the many journeys ahead.
In my spare time I enjoy any form of cycling, running, training for competitive events, rock climbing, backpacking, sailing, playing guitar, and enjoying others company.
